Nurses

Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. They examine patients, make a diagnosis and plan care, including prescribing certain products in conjunction with the doctors.

They are experts in many areas of disease management such as diabetes, asthma and sexual health to name a few. Our nurses also offer a cervical smear service.

Mrs Alex Barker

Alex is our Practice Nurse and works alongside the doctors providing surgeries for general nursing problems as well as advanced care in chronic disease management eg. diabetes and asthma.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Hannah Brombley (f)

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Mrs Mo Hodge (f)
